An AIEEE trial online test has been launched by CBSE through which students can test their comfort level in appearing for the actual All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) 2012.

CBSE will also entertain the requests for change in the application form for some categories. From 23 December 2011 those students who have opted for an offline exam centre can make a change to the online centre for the AIEEE exam. It should be noted that online centre cannot be changed to offline one.

NCERT Questions

http://www.meritnation.com/img/seo/ncert_logo.png
A study guide can give answers to the NCERT questions but seldom can it do justice to the length and breadth of the syllabus for a given subject! Students often consider writing the solutions to the NCERT questions as wasteful time-consuming and futile activity. However, a thorough understanding of the various aspects of the NCERT questions and its utility can change their existing notions.

Career after 12th 10th education program-What to do After 10th class and 12th class board examination

http://btechzone.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/career.gif

It is a great dilemma for the students to choose a particular stream for their higher education. Traditionally speaking, it has been considered that there exist only two stream after 12th where you can have a good career i.e. Medical and Engineering. Students opting for Maths, Biology are considered to be brilliant than those opting other streams for eg. Arts, Commerce, Law etc, specifically in India. This is a norm which has been set up by a Indian Society and anyone deviating from this norm would be questioned by everyone " Why didn't you go for IIT ? " , " Why not Medical? Its a great field " , " See how IIT students get good jobs, go for it ". Well these are the questions which block the thinking of a student to think beyond this and start considering these two as the only options which are available to him for higher studies. I have seen many students who are not at all interested in these fields, but even though they prepare for it because society has given its approval only for these two streams. Well, I am able to say all this because I am one of such cases who opted for Maths after 10th without thinking about my interest, as to What am I interested in ? But luckily I decided at the crucial point and left the idea of doing engineering and opted for law and I am not regretting my decision, actually I am very happy with this.

How to prepare for the board papers?

http://watercolortechniques.org/wp-content/uploads/how%20to%20prepare%20paper%20for%20watercolor%20painting_2.jpg

Board papers are usually geared to test the knowledge and preparation levels of students after year long rigorous studies. The board papers not only check a student’s conceptual understanding of key concepts but also test their mettle to stand extreme situations. Students should not get cowed down at any point and take on their board papers with a single minded focus of giving it their best shot.
